300 Brands of Beer, All In One Place @ The Toronto Festival Of Beer

It was an amazing weekend over at the Toronto Festival of Beer this weekend! If you didn’t have a chance to get out there, boy you sure missed out on an amazing time.

The festival was held just past the Exhibition grounds in downtown Toronto. People were everywhere! The sun was shining, weather was sweet and awesome beers were found in everyones glass.

A  token system was in place, with a majority of beers following the one token half and two token for a  full glass rule. At a dollar a token, it was quite the steal

Full decks and patios were erected, many you may recognize (like this one from Moosehead Breweries )

Others, you were welcomed to get to know

My favourite location of the day was the awesome tent set up showcasing  various tastes from Ontario Craft Brewers

Where I had the pleasure of discovering a slew of new amazing beers. Including my new favourite, Ginger Cat from the people at Mill Street Brewery

Brickworks Ciderhouse  introduced everyone to their beauty new semi-sweet, but also had their classic dry on hand. (It was a wonderful start to the afternoon, these guys were the first to grace my taster glass) over with Ontario Craft Ciders (a part of the Ontario Craft Brews zone)

I was introduced to the only alcoholic tea I have ever tasted that actually tastes just like iced tea. Games galore and a fun crew were found over at their bright yellow station, at Twisted Tea

Other beer blends and radlers were out in full force, blending that perfect amount of beer and juice for a day in the summer sun (this one from the crew at Moosehead Light)

The crew over at Steam Whistle Brewing were having fun constructing an endless number of beer box hats

Which kept the fun moving through the park and had everyone asking if there was some sort of competition we didn’t know about

As the day rocked on, everyone was very happy to have the people from http://www.wateronwheels.ca  around every corner. Free rounds of water were on tap all afternoon

Selfies galore were had, and there were funtastic stations set up by the people from Instagram, keeping smiles rolling through all afternoon

Various groups were seen throughout the park, including these lovely ladies, who have their very own society set up to appreciate beer SOBDL

A table set up from Discover Ireland CA, showcasing the beauty of this lucky land. Want to go to Ireland? There’s a chance for everyone to win a 7 day trip, simply by by entering your email and name here http://bit.ly/1D67QPu !

Irish brewers also graced us with an entire Irish taste section, this particular stand shared O’Haras with everyone, one of Irelands oldest craft beers

Alexander Keiths Brewery was out with their new tastes of summer

The Keiths booth was also giving out FREE POUTINE!

From the tasty people over at Smoke’s Poutinerie

There were demonstrations had, and awesome food everywhere

If you were lucky enough to hold a VIP ticket, you would have had the pleasure to hear Kenny V while sippin on an Ice cold Steam Whistle, out of the sun.

There were great times had by all who had the chance to wander the various tents set up around the park

As well as those who were lucky enough to snag a table

It was a beauty weekend for such an awesome gathering of people. The next time you hear of the Toronto Festival of Beer coming to town, you’ll have to snag a ticket! Trust me, you will not be disappointed!
